…but that doesn’t seem to be too different than every other Kentucky governor in the memory of my short lifetime. The state Republican Party has filed a fundrasing complaint (Page One all over it here) that alleges that the Bluegrass Freedom Fund was nothing but a front organization for Beshear- Mongiardo. This could be many things–something, nothing, a revenge hit for what some Republicans feel was unfair treatment of Ernie Fletcher– but despite the influence of politics on the complaint even being filed, I have to believe that casino money involved and quick dissolution of BFF makes this worth more than just a cursory inspection.
